The council has seen its rating increase, moving from 9.29 in 2024 to 9.64 in 2025. Two public entities linked to the council, the Foundation of Children's Schools and the Municipal Management of Culture and Sports, have achieved the maximum score of 10, representing a considerable improvement from previous years.
Regarding complaints filed with the Transparency Commissioner, a notable decrease is observed: from 24 complaints in 2024 to 11 in 2025. The Foundation of Children's Schools has seen a spectacular rise, going from 2.40 in 2024 to 10 in the latest report. Meanwhile, the Municipal Management of Culture and Sports has climbed from 3.30 to 10.
The Councilor for Transparency, Arminda Santana, positively assessed these results, stating, "We are seeing the results of our work over the past year to improve citizens' access to public information and the responses we provide to complaints." Santana emphasized that "by providing clear information on the various municipal websites and the Transparency page, we generate greater citizen trust in the institution, which also helps increase citizen participation."
The report details that the Foundation of Children's Schools scored 6.51 in the Mandatory Information Compliance Indicator (out of 7), 2.90 in the Web Support Compliance Indicator (out of 3), and 9.49 in the Active Publicity Compliance Index (out of 10). In Voluntary Transparency Index, it achieved 0.90 (out of 1).
The Councilor for Education and Children's Schools, Mario Bordón, expressed his satisfaction with the positive evolution reflected in the report, affirming that "providing information to citizens is a priority of our municipal government."
The Municipal Management of Culture and Sports also received a score of 6.86 in the Mandatory Information Compliance Indicator (out of 7), the maximum (3) in the Web Support Compliance Indicator, and 9.86 in the Active Publicity Compliance Index (out of 10). In the Voluntary Transparency Index, it reached 1 (out of 1).
