Maximum temperatures will experience a slight general decrease but will remain high. In Gran Canaria, values of up to 34°C are expected in the eastern, southern, and western midlands. In Fuerteventura, Tenerife, and La Gomera, highs will range between 30 and 32°C in their southern inland areas and midlands.
Minimum temperatures, meanwhile, will see a slight rise. Skies will be cloudy in the north of the mountainous islands, with possible clear spells during the central hours of the day. In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, skies will be mostly clear with some cloudy intervals in the north and west.
Wind will be another significant factor, blowing moderately from the northeast. However, it will reach strong intensity on the southeast and northwest coasts of the larger islands, where locally very strong gusts are probable, especially during the early morning.
The highest values will again be concentrated in Gran Canaria, where 34°C could be reached in midlands facing east, south, and west.
By island, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will experience little change in temperatures, with mostly clear skies and moderate winds. Gran Canaria, in addition to the 34°C, will face strong winds with very strong gusts on its coasts. Tenerife and La Gomera will also experience heat in their southern midlands and strong winds on the coasts.
La Palma and El Hierro will have clouds in the north, with maximums slightly decreasing and strong winds in exposed areas, particularly on the southeast and northwest coasts.
