National Police agents have arrested an individual in southern Tenerife allegedly responsible for around 30 property crimes committed this year in Arona and Adeje.

The investigation began after receiving multiple complaints about robberies perpetrated in commercial establishments and inside apartments and hotel rooms within a short period and in the same geographical area.
The perpetrator's modus operandi involved accessing premises or apartments by breaking entry points, or by scaling hotel walls and fences to enter through room windows.
Once inside, the suspect primarily stole cash, jewelry, and bank cards, which were subsequently used fraudulently.
Officers identified and arrested the alleged perpetrator, a repeat offender with over 70 prior arrests. He is charged with more than 30 property offenses committed in the south of the island during 2026.
The detainee faces charges of burglary, theft, and fraud. He was brought before the judicial authorities and remanded in preventive custody.
