The discovery occurred on May 15th during an operation to monitor foreign license plates in Campo Internacional. Officers specializing in document forgery and illicit vehicle trafficking, in collaboration with the National Police Corps, confirmed that the car, valued between 130,000 and 160,000 euros, was reported stolen in Germany.
Investigations were conducted through the Sirene network, an international police information exchange system. The inquiry revealed that the automobile had been involved in two private sales in Gran Canaria and had also passed its mandatory technical inspection at the station in the Arinaga industrial estate.
The vehicle in question is a BMW M4, registered in 2021. Currently, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains open. The car is being held at the police impound lot pending its return by German authorities.
