The festivities will officially begin on Friday, June 5, with the ringing of bells and the opening of an exhibition of traditional Canarian clothing. The opening speech, delivered by Pedro Rodríguez, known as “Pedro el Laurel”, will take place at Nicolás Quesada Park at 8:30 PM. The inaugural day will also include the XV Juan José Rodríguez Sánchez Memorial and a Youth Night with performances by Alberto Déniz, Pedro Afonso, and Aisho Ortega.
Saturday, June 6, will be the day of the Romería-Ofrenda (Pilgrimage-Offering) to San Antonio ‘El Chico’, which will depart at 6:30 PM with the participation of 16 local groups and invited ensembles. Following the Romero Mass, performed by the Artistic Schools of Mogán, the saint's image will be moved to Nicolás Quesada Park. The night will continue with a taifas dance and a street party featuring the Orquesta Panamaribe and Grupo Arena.
The family agenda will unfold from June 7 with an aquatic inflatable park. On June 8, a zanga and domino tournament will be held, along with the theatrical performance “El destape llegó al pueblo” by the 3rd Age Club San Antonio. The following days will include gastronomic contests, the closing of the Municipal Sports Schools, and the presentation of the book “Mogán: a town united by its popular festivals”.
On Friday, June 12, the Eve Night, will be marked by the highly anticipated concert of Argentine singer-songwriter Coti, followed by a street party with Armonía Show and Furia Joven. On Saturday, June 13, San Antonio's Day, the solemn Eucharist and the symbolic appointment of the saint as Perpetual Mayor of Mogán will be celebrated, followed by a procession, the traditional Canto de Los Pajaritos with the Municipal Band of Mogán, a popular toast, and performances by Mariachi Peleón, Javi Cedrés, and an early morning party with La Mekánica by Tamarindos, DJ Promaster, and Star Music.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, June 14, with an artisan market and performances by Grupo Serenata, El Último Que Cierre, Los Lola, and Los Salvapantallas. The mayor, Onalia Bueno, reminded attendees of the mandatory traditional Canarian attire for the Romería-Ofrenda, calling the festivals "a song to Canarian tradition and idiosyncrasy." The Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Mencey Santana, invited everyone to enjoy the tradition and activities.
