The Mogan City Council has finished the rehabilitation of the children's playground located in the El Horno neighborhood, including the renewal of the flooring and the upgrade of the adjacent sports court.

The intervention involved a total expenditure of 41,706 euros. This amount was covered by a municipal contribution of 16,971 euros and funding of 24,735 euros from the Presidency Area of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
The work focused on the recreational area located next to the neighborhood's social center. In addition to replacing the playground equipment and installing new safety flooring, the turf on the 3x3 football court was also renewed.
This project is part of a broader municipal plan to modernize children's play areas across various parts of Mogan. The program has already included recent projects such as the renovation of the urban park in Puerto Rico.
The council is continuing with other improvement projects in the municipality, such as works at the Lomo Quiebre park in Playa de Mogan and the upcoming tender for the Perez Galdos square in Arguineguin. Work is also underway on designs for Pino Seco and the renovation of the La Vistilla park.
