The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council has granted the license for the comprehensive renovation of the Green Ocean tourist complex, located in the Las Burras urbanization, with an approved investment of over 1.4 million euros.
The Urban Planning Department has given the green light for the complete renovation of 64 apartments, as well as the modernization of the complex's facilities and common areas. The project, with an approved material execution budget of 1,484,628.41 euros, aims to update the establishment to current standards without increasing its tourist capacity.
The intervention will transform the complex's exterior appearance with new cladding, carpentry, and shade elements, in addition to the renovation of garden areas and outdoor spaces. Some of the accommodation units will feature private pools. The main pool and solarium will be completely refurbished, and a detachable kiosk-bar will be added.
In terms of accessibility, the project includes the installation of two elevators, the construction of ramps, and the adaptation of apartments for people with reduced mobility. Common areas such as the gym and cafeteria will also be improved as part of the complex's overall update plan.
Following the renovation, the complex will go from 65 to 64 accommodation units, maintaining the existing 192 tourist places. The file confirms that the action does not involve an increase in buildable area or capacity.
