In Lanzarote, a notable detail for next year is that Carnival Tuesday, February 9, 2027, will be a working day in the municipalities of Yaiza and Teguise. In the rest of the island's municipalities, this day will indeed be a holiday.
In Arrecife, the local holidays will be February 9 (Carnival Tuesday) and August 25 (San Ginés). In Haría, in addition to February 9, June 24 (San Juan) will be celebrated. San Bartolomé will have February 9 and August 24 (San Bartolomé) as holidays. Tías will observe February 9 and February 2 (Candelaria), while Tinajo will have February 9 and August 16 (San Roque).
Meanwhile, Yaiza has set its own local holidays for July 7 (San Marcial) and September 8 (Remedios). In Teguise, the 2027 local festivities will fall on July 16 (Carmen) and August 5 (Nieves).
This complete list of holidays, detailing the days off for all 88 Canarian municipalities, was officially announced over the past weekend.
