The 2026 Festivities of Our Lady of El Pilar in El Cuchillo concluded this Monday with the traditional procession of the Virgen del Pilar through the town's streets, an event that provided the grand finale to the celebrations.

Following the mass, officiated by the parish priest of Tinajo, Francisco José García, the image of the Virgen del Pilar paraded through the streets of El Cuchillo. The procession was accompanied by the Tinajo Municipal Band and followed by a large group of faithful.
As is customary, the Músico Cultural Timbayba Group paid homage to the Virgin in the teleclub area with music, tradition, and dance, showcasing colorful traditional costumes.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, and the Councilor for Festivities, Jonathan Pérez Olivero, congratulated the residents and the El Cuchillo Festival Commission for their work in organizing festivities "full of events for all ages and tastes".
This year's festivities, dedicated to Our Lady of El Pilar, concluded with a children's play-back, the performance by AMC Timbayba, and the procession, with hopes that both residents and visitors enjoyed these days.
