The operation, coordinated by the Urban Planning department, focused on the area known as Los Vivitos. The primary goal was to advance administrative control over an enclave divided into six sectors due to its vast size and structural complexity.
During the operation, authorities inspected 64 structures and identified 94 individuals. Furthermore, 17 seals were placed on buildings within the settlement, and various actions were taken regarding urban and environmental regulations, including PAPRONA interventions concerning waste dumping.
The deployment involved multiple security forces, including the Arona Local Police, the National Police, SEPRONA, and the Reserve and Security Group. Additionally, Social Services staff and municipal technicians were part of the operation to manage the situation on the ground.
The local government stated that this intervention is a key step in their strategy to restore urban legality and strengthen safety in the municipality. Arona City Council will now continue with the necessary administrative procedures to ensure territory protection and compliance with current regulations.
