The event, organized by the Municipal Sports Board, was originally scheduled for June. It was postponed following the official mourning declared by the Government of the Canary Islands due to the earthquake in Venezuela, as a sign of institutional respect.
The gathering will bring together various stakeholders, including athletes, clubs, coaches, and families. The main goal is to recognize the effort and achievements of those who contribute to the local sports community throughout the season.
The organizers have expressed their gratitude to all involved entities and individuals for their understanding regarding the schedule change, as well as their willingness to participate in this edition.
