The collection point will be operational at Avenida Marítima Puerto de Santiago, in the Playa La Arena area. Today, Wednesday, the hours are from 17:45 to 20:00, and tomorrow, Thursday, from 10:45 to 14:00 and from 16:45 to 20:00. The campaign is aimed at both residents and visitors.
The SCS emphasizes the importance of donating blood periodically to ensure the supply in the archipelago's hospitals and invites all citizens who meet the requirements to participate in this initiative.
In addition to this mobile unit, there are fixed donation points in Tenerife. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at Méndez Núñez, the hours are Monday to Friday from 9:15 to 20:15. At the San Isidro Health Center in Granadilla de Abona, donations can be made Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 14:15 to 19:30, with reserved parking for donors.
Hospitals also have walk-in donation points. The University Hospital of the Canary Islands is open Sunday to Friday and on holidays from 8:30 to 21:30, and Saturdays from 8:30 to 14:30 and 15:30 to 20:00. The University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00. Hospiten Bellevue in Puerto de la Cruz requires an appointment (922 385 235, option 1) Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:30. Finally, the San Juan de Dios Hospital on the Santa Cruz La Laguna road allows donations Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 12:30.
