The TF-657 road in the Cabo Blanco neighborhood will be closed to traffic for approximately two weeks starting August 3rd, due to the execution of collector AR2 works to improve the municipality's sanitation network.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has initiated works on the TF-657 road, specifically between kilometer points 5+795 and 5+865, in the Cabo Blanco neighborhood. These works, expected to last about two weeks barring unforeseen technical or weather issues, involve a complete traffic closure.
The main reason is the execution of the AR2 collector, an action necessary for improving the municipality's sanitation network. Due to the narrowing of the carriageway in the affected section, no vehicles, including cars and heavy goods vehicles, will be allowed to pass.
Alternative routes will be signposted to facilitate circulation around Cabo Blanco for cars and light vehicles. Trucks and heavy vehicles will need to follow long-distance detours, as secondary roads cannot accommodate large tonnage vehicles.
Users are advised to plan their journeys in advance, respect the temporary signage, follow the instructions of the construction personnel, and drive cautiously on the designated detours. These works have been declared of general State interest.
The actions are part of the improvement of hydraulic infrastructures and public services in the municipality of Arona, and the understanding and cooperation of residents, businesses, and road users are appreciated.
