The Arona Local Police have intensified controls against illegal street vending on the Las Vistas promenade in Los Cristianos, seizing a significant quantity of products.

This action is part of the surveillance and control plan that the Arona City Council maintains in its tourist areas to safeguard citizen security, promote coexistence, and protect local established businesses.
During the operation, officers removed numerous items being offered for sale irregularly on the promenade. These practices create unfair competition, constitute improper occupation of public space, and negatively affect the image of one of the municipality's busiest tourist spots.
The City Council reminds that unauthorized street vending is prohibited and reaffirms its commitment to continue these controls to ensure the proper use of public spaces, providing a safe and orderly environment for both residents and visitors.
Furthermore, the Consistory expressed its gratitude to the Local Police for their daily work, considered essential for preserving the municipality's safety, order, and quality.
