From 00:30 on August 2nd until 14:00 on August 12th, parking and circulation will be prohibited on the esplanade adjacent to the Plaza del Valle de San Lorenzo. Similar restrictions will apply to the street parallel to the plaza and Juana González González street between August 5th and 12th.
Juana González González street will be open for downward traffic, with the upward direction diverted via La Cabezada street. Momentary traffic cuts are expected. The downward lane will be designated for authorized vehicles from 17:00 on August 7th until the events conclude. Access to garages will only be permitted when no festivities are taking place.
For the Popular Race “Valle Pa´Arriba Valle Pa´Abajo” on August 8th, parking will be prohibited from 16:30 and circulation from 18:30 along a route including Av. San Lorenzo, Chindia street, Juana González González street, Casas de Abajo street, Guinea street, Bailadero street, Montaña Arvejeras path, El Roquete path, La Galga street, Cáceres street, and back to Av. San Lorenzo.
On August 9th, the Classic and Vintage Car Exhibition will lead to parking and circulation bans on Av. San Lorenzo and C/ Juana González González (between c/ La Cabezada and c/ Chindia) throughout the day. On the same Sunday, the Pilgrimage to the Fountain will restrict parking from 16:00 and circulation from 17:00 on Av. San Lorenzo, C/La Cabezada, C/Chindia, and the path to La Fuente.
Processions will also affect traffic. On August 10th, the Procession in Honor of San Lorenzo Mártir will cause parking and circulation prohibitions from 19:00 in Av. San Lorenzo, C/Chindia, C/Llano Mora, C/La Cabezada, and C/Juana González González. On August 11th, the Procession in Honor of Ntra. Sra. de la Encarnación will follow a similar pattern of time and road restrictions.
Additionally, parking is prohibited in the parking area outside the Arona Municipal Depot, on Av. de Las Madrigueras, from 15:00 on August 8th to 09:00 on August 12th. These measures will not affect public service and security vehicles.
