Santiago del Teide Celebrates the IX Edition of 'Un Mar de Experiencias'

The Santiago del Teide City Council has presented the IX edition of the project “Un Mar de Experiencias 2026”, which will take place from October 5 to November 27 with an extensive program of gastronomic and leisure activities focused on seafood and traditional fishing.

Mayor Emilio Navarro, during the presentation held at the Hotel La Casona del Patio, emphasized the council's firm commitment to promoting artisanal fishing. "We continue to firmly support the promotion of artisanal fishing, valuing an activity closely linked to our identity and traditions," he stated.
Furthermore, the mayor highlighted the importance of promoting local products and raising awareness about environmental preservation, particularly among younger generations. For his part, the Councilor for the Primary Sector, Germán Jiménez, detailed the events scheduled until November 27. Among them, he highlighted the celebration of the Un Mar de Experiencias fair, which will include a showcase of local and artisanal products, as well as fish dissection and tasting, with a special mention of tuna.
