Coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day, the Santiago del Teide City Council, in collaboration with the hotels Barceló Santiago, Landmar Playa La Arena, and TUI Blue Los Gigantes, has held an emotional tribute to four married couples. This recognition highlights their tourist loyalty to the municipality.
The honored couples were: Jean Mitchell Tarniewicz and Martine Marie Reine Morel (Barceló Santiago), who have visited the municipality several times a year for 22 years; Stewart Donaldson and Isobel Jessie (Barceló Santiago), with 20 years of continuous visits; Johns Stephenson and Lorraine Stephenson (Landmar Playa La Arena), with over 20 consecutive stays; and Mr. Denys Brown and Mrs. Sheila Brown (TUI BLUE Los Gigantes), who have returned annually for over 25 years.
The tribute ceremony took place at the three mentioned hotel establishments and was attended by the Councilor for Tourism, Luz Goretti Gorrín, as well as members of the management and directors of the complexes.
