The Santiago del Teide City Council has renewed its ENS (National Security Scheme) certification, a recognition that validates its commitment to information protection and cybersecurity.

The council received this certification during the 5th Conference on Cybersecurity in Local Administration, organized by the Cabildo of Tenerife at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the University of La Laguna.
Obtaining this seal ensures a high level of protection against risks and cyber threats, guarantees the availability of critical technological services, strengthens trust in the use of digital services, and confirms the implementation of advanced security controls.
This recertification underscores the council's commitment to information security, providing new guarantees to users, collaborators, and entities with which it works. It signifies that the information systems and services provided have been audited in accordance with the requirements of Royal Decree (RD 311/2022, of May 3rd).
The accreditation diploma was received by the Councilor for New Technologies, Gesabel Dorta.
