The alliance, signed by the territorial director of CaixaBank in the Canary Islands, Manuel Afonso, and the president of Fepeco, Olga Sanfiel, aims to continue supporting the business fabric of construction, development, and real estate in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Through this agreement, CaixaBank will offer companies and professionals associated with Fepeco a range of financial products and services under advantageous conditions, adapted to the specific needs of the sector. For her part, Olga Sanfiel pointed out that industrialized construction represents a real opportunity to increase housing production and help address the housing crisis in the Canary Islands. She stressed the need for financing adapted to its particularities, enabling companies to undertake necessary investments, drive innovation, and accelerate projects.
Sanfiel also noted that industrialized construction opens up significant opportunities for the financial sector, which can play a decisive role by facilitating tailored solutions. Fepeco, founded in 1977, represents and defends the professional interests of construction companies, particularly SMEs and self-employed individuals, in El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera, and Tenerife. It is a member of various organizations, including the National Construction Confederation (CNC) and CEOE-Tenerife.
