Tenerife authorities have appealed for calm and prudence regarding the local football team's potential promotion to the Second Division, urging fans to avoid pitch invasions.

The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife has called for serenity concerning the potential promotion of CD Tenerife to the Second Division. A security operation has been arranged, covering the area from the stadium to the Cabildo headquarters to manage any celebrations.
During a press conference, the island institution's representative noted that giant screens would be set up outside the Cabildo for fans to watch the match between the blue-and-white club and Baracaldo, scheduled for May 1st at 6:00 PM.
Security forces have coordinated a special deployment for the game, for which all tickets have been sold. Road closures are anticipated to accompany the team on its route to the insular palace, expecting a large crowd of supporters.

"There will be time to celebrate when the team reaches the Cabildo balcony, but we must remember that it's time to play, stay focused, and not put the cart before the horse."

the Cabildo president
The Cabildo square is the traditional venue for CD Tenerife's promotion celebrations. The president emphasized the importance of “keeping feet on the ground” and preventing fans from invading the Heliodoro Rodríguez López pitch in moments of euphoria.
