Lenovo Tenerife has secured its place in the Liga Endesa playoffs for the championship title following Unicaja's defeat against Joventut Badalona, marking their presence in the competition for the ninth time in the last decade.

Joventut Badalona's victory over Unicaja Málaga has mathematically confirmed Lenovo Tenerife's qualification for the Liga Endesa championship playoffs. This achievement, the ninth in the last ten years, also grants the Tenerife team a direct ticket to the next Champions League, thus avoiding the preliminary phase.
With only one game remaining in the regular season, the aurinegro team faces the match against Bilbao Basket with the peace of mind of having secured their playoff spot. The game, to be played at the Santiago Martín, will serve to define the seventh position, which Lenovo Tenerife currently holds and would pit them against the eighth-placed team. The winner of this duel will overtake the loser in the standings, although the Canarian team has a margin of error regarding Unicaja.
This qualification marks another successful season for the squad led by Txus Vidorreta, extending their streak to 14 consecutive participations in both League and Copa del Rey elimination rounds since the 19/20 season. The team has demonstrated remarkable consistency, remaining in the top tier of the competition despite obstacles.
Lenovo Tenerife thus joins a select group of 15 national teams that have participated in at least one Copa del Rey or ACB playoff elimination round since the 19/20 season. Their constant presence alongside other giants like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia Basket, teams with significantly larger budgets, is noteworthy.
The current squad maintains the core of players who have been key to this successful streak. Three players from the 19/20 season remain on the team: Marcelinho Huertas, Gio Shermadini, and Fran Guerra, although the former two are doubtful for the current playoffs. Fitipaldo and Aaron Doornekamp, who joined later, are also important assets.
