CD Tenerife faces a crucial match this Friday at the Heliodoro, where they could secure their promotion to Segunda División with a victory against Barakaldo or if Celta Fortuna fails to improve their result.

After failing to achieve promotion at El Toralín, the 'blanquiazul' team now has a second chance, with their fate in their own hands. A victory against Barakaldo at the Heliodoro, scheduled for 18:00, would be sufficient to achieve their goal.
The probabilities of promotion have significantly increased, from 11% to 66% in one week. The outcome of the match between Celta and Osasuna's reserve teams in Balaídos, which will be played earlier, will also have an impact. If the Navarrese team wins, CD Tenerife will be mathematically promoted before their own game.

Out of nine possible combinations between the two matches, only three would postpone Tenerife's success: a Fortuna victory and a draw or defeat at Rodríguez López, and a draw in Vigo combined with a setback for the islanders.

The CD Tenerife coach will have to face the match without the suspended Aitor Sanz and the injured Agüero, Marc Mateu, Nacho Gil, and Alassan. However, César Álvarez, who has recovered from an ankle sprain, and David, after serving a one-match suspension, will be available.
Barakaldo, the current leader of Group 1 of Primera RFEF and the best home team in the category, will be a demanding opponent. Although their away performance has been less consistent, they have already defeated CD Tenerife this season, being the first team to overcome the 'blanquiazules'.
