CD Tenerife is set to receive an additional financial boost linked to the potential promotion of Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña to the top tier of national football.

The deal, finalized last summer, included a variable clause regarding the transfer of a player to the Galician side. Should the team from A Coruña secure promotion to Primera División, the Tenerife-based club will receive a sum of approximately 250,000 euros.
However, the net income for the club will be lower, as Sevilla Fútbol Club retains 30% of the player's rights. Consequently, the actual profit for CD Tenerife is expected to be between 150,000 and 200,000 euros, funds that could be allocated to strengthening the squad for the upcoming season.

"It will be a windfall that could, for example, cover the signing of a player for next season."

Beyond this financial matter, the club is currently focused on its sporting planning for the next campaign. Key decisions remain regarding the team captain, a matter that balances emotional ties with sporting strategy, given the player's age as he approaches his forties.
