The renowned Canarian rap duo Chocolate Sexy has released their anticipated new EP, titled Buenos de boca, a work that marks their return to the music scene with a fresh proposal deeply rooted in the islands' culture.

After a period of physical distance due to one member's work commitments, the duo Chocolate Sexy, composed of Guillermo Gilo Le Chocolatier and Álvaro Reverendo Brown, is back in action with a project conceived in their recording studio, known as El Palomar.

"The EP's name comes from the Canarian expression people use when they see big, strong guys; the double meaning comes when you also understand that it's with your mouth that you handle words. 'Piquitos de oro' if you push it, even."

The culinary inspiration is not only reflected in the title but also in the song names and the visual aesthetic of the promotion, which evokes the traditional paper tablecloths with dark blue designs, so characteristic of food establishments in the Canary Islands.
The experience of working remotely has reinforced the artists' appreciation for direct contact. Both members agree that in-person collaboration at El Palomar is fundamental to the creative process, maintaining the fun and spontaneity that characterize their music.
In this new EP, the musical production was entirely handled by Álvaro, who is also responsible for the scratches. For their live performances, the duo collaborates with DJs from their closest circle.
As pioneers of rap in the Canary Islands, and especially in Fuerteventura, Chocolate Sexy observes with optimism the growing rise of urban music in the archipelago, hoping that this will generate new opportunities and spaces for the development of emerging artists.
