Following the recent elections at the Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero, a group of members has expressed dissatisfaction with the current management, demanding greater transparency in the accounts.

The group known as Canario Lucha has published a statement questioning various aspects of the entity's administration. Among their main demands, the signatories request a more detailed account, arguing that the ongoing audit is a response to legal requirements due to the volume of funds and public subsidies received, rather than a voluntary initiative for openness.
Likewise, the group of critical members has cast doubt on the information disseminated regarding the progress of approved reforms. According to their analysis of the economic documentation, the level of execution of the budgeted works is lower than what has been conveyed to the public.
The document also refers to previous debates, such as the proposal to sell land in the Suroeste de Santa Cruz, which was rejected in an assembly, and expresses concern about possible changes that could affect the rights of preferred members.
For its part, the institution's presidency has expressed its willingness to maintain an open dialogue with members, highlighting its commitment to stability, the completion of pending projects, and the preservation of the prestige of this society in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
