Man Arrested in Tenerife for Harassment and Phone Threats Against Woman

The National Police and the Canary Islands Police have arrested a man in Tenerife for alleged crimes of harassment, threats, and violation of privacy, following an investigation initiated by a woman's complaint.

The investigation began after a complaint was filed by a resident of the island, focusing on the repeated sending of threatening messages and communications via messaging apps and various phone lines, some linked to prepaid SIM cards under false identities.
As a result of the actions taken by both police forces, judicial authority authorized the search of the suspect's residence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. During the operation, multiple mobile phones, digital storage devices, SIM cards, and associated supports for several phone lines, which are currently under analysis, were seized.
Officers also located photographic files of the victim on various electronic devices, material that will be technically analyzed. Additionally, a small quantity of narcotic substance and a precision scale were seized during the operation.

During the search, multiple mobile phones, digital storage devices, and various documentation related to the investigation were seized, in addition to SIM cards and supports associated with several telephone lines that are currently being analyzed.

The detainee remained at police facilities until being brought before the judicial authority. Once presented, precautionary measures of restraining order and prohibition of communication with respect to the victim were imposed.
