The National Police have arrested a citizen at Tenerife South Airport as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, after seizing 880 grams of hashish.

National Police agents have arrested a citizen at Tenerife South Airport as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health. The operation occurred following the arrival of a flight from Agadir, Morocco.
During border control, officers observed indications that prompted further checks. A medical test was conducted, confirming the potential presence of narcotic substances inside the individual's body.
Subsequently, the detainee was transferred to a hospital. There, under medical supervision, they expelled a total of 79 hashish capsules, weighing approximately 880 grams.
As a result of this operation, the citizen was arrested for an alleged crime against public health. The individual has been handed over to the competent Judicial Authority.
