The two individuals, along with accomplices, reportedly purchased a property in Hungary with the aim of cultivating cannabis. A police raid in April 2025 uncovered 6,289 cannabis plants and 58 kg of dried cannabis, marking Hungary's largest marijuana seizure in history. The fugitives face up to 20 years in prison.
Following extensive investigation and surveillance, the two fugitives were identified on the island of Tenerife. Both had drastically altered their physical appearance and used false identities to hinder their location and avoid detection.

The wanted individuals were located as they approached their vehicle. Despite offering strong resistance, they were ultimately apprehended and handed over to the judicial authorities.
