The Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received the alert at 12:17 PM, reporting the collision and the need for medical assistance for the two occupants of the motorcycle.
The emergency services activated by 112 included a sanitaryized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), the Guardia Civil, Local Police, and the Road Conservation Service of the Cabildo of Tenerife.
SUC personnel, with the collaboration of a Non-Urgent Transport Ambulance passing through the area, assessed and assisted the affected individuals. A 54-year-old man sustained severe polytrauma and was transferred in critical condition to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands. A 32-year-old woman suffered a severe lower limb trauma and was transferred to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
The Guardia Civil was responsible for preparing the corresponding report, while the Local Police collaborated with the other emergency resources. Road Conservation Service personnel carried out cleaning tasks on the road.
