The incident was reported around 08:32 hours, when the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center received an alert regarding the crash. Emergency protocols were immediately activated to provide assistance at the scene.

Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service arrived to assess the victims. Both individuals suffered moderate chest trauma and were subsequently transported by ambulance to a hospital for further medical care.

Meanwhile, officers from the Guardia Civil have initiated an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident on this Tenerife road.
