Five footballers belonging to CD Tenerife conclude their loan spells at other clubs and will return to the Tenerife club's discipline after the summer break.

Five players linked to CD Tenerife have finished their loan spells at other clubs during the 25/26 season and are set to return to the white-and-blues' fold after the summer period. These are Salifo Caropitche, Babacar Diocou, Josep Calavera, Ander Zoilo, and Sergio Aragoneses, who sought playing time and prominence away from the island.
The most surprising departure in the summer of 2025 was that of Babacar Diocou, who joined Arenas. The Senegalese forward contributed five goals in 17 matches in Primera RFEF, attracting the interest of Granada. The Andalusian club requested his loan until June in the winter window, where he played eleven games and scored one goal, but will ultimately not exercise their purchase option.
Salifo Caropitche's case was different. After finding the CD Tenerife B team 'too small' for him, a loan to a Primera RFEF club, Guadalajara, was arranged. Despite suffering a serious knee injury in mid-April, he had scored six goals in 20 matches up to that point.
The winter transfer window brought more movements. Ander Zoilo and Josep Calavera, who were not getting consistent game time, switched groups within Primera RFEF. The left-back moved to Nástic de Tarragona, while the midfielder joined Hércules.
Ander Zoilo, who started in the initial league games for Tenerife, maintained a similar presence at Nástic, accumulating 730 minutes in eleven matches as a white-and-blue and 780 minutes in twelve games for the Tarragona team.
For Josep Calavera, the change of scenery proved more productive. After playing just over 250 minutes at Tenerife, he found more prominence at Hércules, playing 14 matches (ten as a starter) and quadrupling his minutes compared to his previous spell.
The good relationship with the Arenas management facilitated the loan of Sergio Aragoneses in January. The young goalkeeper seized the opportunity to mature, participating in six Primera RFEF matches.
The five players, not all of whom had professional contracts, are due to return to CD Tenerife in early July. Their future role in the Second Division team remains to be determined.
