The general secretary of the PSOE in Tenerife confirmed this Saturday her intention to run for the presidency of the Cabildo de Tenerife in the upcoming local elections.

During the island committee meeting, the socialist leader explained the need for a change in the island's administration. She stated that the current management by CC and PP has led the island to a state of collapse, affecting essential services and the territory's identity.
The project presented by the party focuses on prioritizing the real concerns of the citizens. Key areas of action highlighted by the socialist leader include improving housing access, addressing mobility issues in the north and south of the island, and managing healthcare infrastructure and water treatment.
The party also emphasized the protection of natural spaces, citing the situation in Anaga and the Teide National Park as areas of concern. The candidate stressed that the goal is to reverse the policies of the last four years with a team committed to the future of Tenerife society.
