The disembarkation and repatriation operation for the passengers of the MV Hondius will take place at Granadilla de Abona Port, in southern Tenerife. The vessel will not dock directly at the pier but will remain anchored off the coast.

From its offshore position, passengers will be transferred by small boats to the port facilities. Once ashore, they will board specially arranged buses, known as “bubble buses,” which will take them directly to the waiting planes for their repatriation.

Televisión Canaria has set up a live broadcast from the port to closely monitor the details of this complex logistical operation, which aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of the transfer for all involved.
