CD Tenerife concluded their home season with a 3-0 victory against Pontevedra at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López, in a match that was inconsequential for the already promoted blue and whites.

The last home game for Tenerife in their return season to Segunda División was marked by fun and entertainment for the crowd. Despite having secured the championship, the team showed willingness and enjoyed themselves on the pitch.
Pontevedra, who were fighting for a promotion playoff spot, attempted to press, but the visiting team's defensive weaknesses soon became apparent. Tenerife took the lead with an own goal by Montoro following a play initiated by Noel (1-0). Shortly after, Iván Chapela extended the lead with a great individual effort, finishing past the goalkeeper (2-0).
In the second half, Tenerife sealed the match with the third goal, scored by Enric Gallego, who controlled, turned, and finished unstoppable. Pontevedra's task became even more difficult with Cuesta's second yellow card, leaving his team with ten men.
Coach Álvaro Cervera took the opportunity to give minutes to players like Gastón, Nacho Gil, Juanjo, and Javi Pérez, while the team continued to enjoy the match. Despite an injury to Balde in the final minutes that left Tenerife with ten men, the game ended on a high note for the home side.
