The XXI Los Loros Hill Climb, taking place in Arafo on June 19-20, 2026, is set for its second appearance in the Spanish Mountain Championship, finalizing key agreements.

The XXI Los Loros Hill Climb – Isla de Tenerife, organized by Club ProGT Arafo, is in the final stages of preparation for its event on June 19-20, 2026. This edition marks a milestone as it's the second time the Tenerife competition is part of the prestigious Spanish Mountain Championship calendar. The race will simultaneously count towards regional, provincial, and inter-island championships, ensuring top-tier participants and a spectacular show.
The organization has announced significant logistical, sustainability, and social action agreements. To facilitate team participation, partnerships have been secured with the Hotel Médano for special accommodation rates and with the ferry company Fred. Olsen Express for discounts on sea transport from the mainland and other islands.
In terms of sustainability and social commitment, the competition will feature sponsorship from Grupo González Canarias – Repsol as the energy provider, supporting the electric 'zero' car of the Canarian Federation of Motorsport. Furthermore, the tradition of supporting a charitable cause continues with the Step by Step Foundation from L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, dedicated to treating spinal cord injuries, allowing two foundation members to experience a race co-drive.
Teams interested in registering can still do so until next Wednesday, June 10th, at 2:00 PM via the official Los Loros Hill Climb website, which already lists the first registered participants.
