The University of La Laguna (ULL) will welcome 3,980 new undergraduate students on Monday, September 7. Faculties and university schools will hold their Welcome Days in the morning, with schedules adapted to each center, where faculty will explain the institutions' operations, degree characteristics, and available services. Some sessions will include tours of the facilities.
The ULL has launched a dedicated webpage with detailed information on schedules, venues, and programming for each faculty, school, and degree. The aim is for students to familiarize themselves with the university environment, resolve initial doubts, and learn about the tools that will aid their adaptation.
While new students will begin their classes on Tuesday, September 8, continuing students will start on Monday, September 7.
The venue will also feature various activities and spaces designed to foster interaction among those starting their university journey this year.
In the afternoon, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the parking lot of the Faculty of Fine Arts will host the second edition of Hola ULL, a welcome festival complementing the academic day. Access will be restricted to new students with an identification wristband. The venue will offer information booths for university services (12:00 PM-3:00 PM) and Leisure, Sports, and Gastro&Chill zones (12:00 PM-4:00 PM).
Music will be featured with performances by DJ Sistah Vibes, DJ Adrian Deniz, and DJ Nicovicks until 4:00 PM. Raffles for attendees will also take place at 3:00 PM.
The 2026/27 academic year will officially commence on Friday, September 11, with the Opening Ceremony in the Paraninfo. First-semester classes for continuing students begin on September 7, and for new students on September 8, running until December 18. The second semester will take place from January 25 to May 13, 2027. The institution will also begin its centenary celebrations in January 2027.
