A 36-year-old individual was apprehended in Tacoronte, Tenerife, after being caught stealing from a guachinche and resisting arrest by the Civil Guard.

The Civil Guard has arrested a 36-year-old man who was caught in the act of stealing from inside a guachinche located in Tacoronte, in the northern part of the island of Tenerife.
In addition to the charge of robbery with force against an establishment, the individual is accused of assaulting law enforcement officers. According to details from the armed institute, the arrested man ignored officers' instructions and offered "strong resistance" at the time of his apprehension.
During the operation, officers managed to locate and seize several tools that were allegedly used to gain access to the premises. Some stolen items from the establishment, cash, and the casing of a cigarette vending machine were also recovered.
The detainee, who has numerous prior police records and an extensive criminal history related to offenses against persons and property, has been handed over to the competent Judicial Authority.
