The incident occurred this Monday around 3:32 PM, when the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert requesting medical assistance for the affected individual.
112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. A basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), along with personnel from the Spanish Red Cross, were dispatched to the scene.
Healthcare professionals assessed and treated the woman, who presented with various moderate injuries. She was subsequently taken to the Spanish Red Cross base in Teide National Park for medication before being evacuated to the hospital.
