National Lottery First Prize Leaves 60,000 Euros in Tenerife

The winning number 40.010, awarded the top prize, was sold at the La Chasnera service station in Granadilla de Abona.

The National Lottery draw held this Saturday has distributed a first prize of 60,000 euros per ticket in the Canary Islands, with the number 40.010, which was sold at a service station in Tenerife.

According to information provided by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, the winning ticket for the first prize was sold at the service station located at kilometer 54 of the Southern Highway of Tenerife, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, popularly known as La Chasnera.
In addition to Tenerife, the first prize was also distributed in other locations on the peninsula such as A Coruña, Vizcaya, and Madrid. Meanwhile, the second prize, amounting to 12,000 euros per ticket and corresponding to number 68.313, was sold entirely in the city of Valencia.
The refunds for this draw were for tickets whose last digits matched numbers 0, 2, and 6, awarding a prize of 6 euros for each ticket.
The National Lottery, with its long tradition in Spain, offers different types of draws, including ordinary draws held on Thursdays and Saturdays, as well as special and extraordinary draws with larger prizes, such as the well-known Christmas and El Niño draws.
