A total of 4,583 students enrolled in the ordinary session, of whom 4,060 were deemed eligible, 493 ineligible, and 30 did not attend. The average high school grade in the province was 8.24, which reduced to 6.56 for the PAU, resulting in a final average access grade of 7.57.
By specialization, the pass rate was 85.98% in Arts (Plastic Arts, Image and Design), 96.05% in Arts (Music and Performing Arts), 92.49% in Science and Technology, and 85.42% in Humanities and Social Sciences.
Broken down by island, 3,663 people took the exam in Tenerife with an 89.3% pass rate. In La Palma, 87.02% of 295 participants were eligible; in El Hierro, 94.8% of 37 eligible; and in La Gomera, 86.6% of 65 eligible.
The pre-enrollment process for degree programs for the 2026/27 academic year opened today and will be available until July 2 for students who have passed the PAU. Those who did not pass will have another opportunity in the July session, scheduled for June 30 and July 1 and 2.
The University of La Laguna has invited the 30 students with the highest university access grades, based on the general PAU phase, for an event recognizing excellence to be held next Monday, June 15.
