The City Council of Granadilla de Abona has delivered eight new municipal plots on the Las Crucitas estate. This initiative aims to facilitate self-consumption, attract new demographics to agricultural practice, and strengthen ties with the local primary sector.
The plots, previously prepared, are equipped with the necessary resources for recipients to begin cultivating immediately. The project seeks to revive traditional agriculture, promote healthy lifestyle habits, and create spaces for community interaction among neighbors.
The Department of Primary Sector frames this action within its strategy to foster a more participatory and sustainable agricultural model, as well as to encourage generational renewal and preserve farming practices in the municipality.

With this new allocation, Granadilla de Abona expands the use of the municipal estate of Las Crucitas, consolidating it as a space dedicated to cultivation, environmental education, and support for food self-sufficiency.
