Pope Leo XIV landed at Tenerife North Airport after a short flight from Gran Canaria. Following this, at 10:10 AM, the Pope will proceed to the Plaza del Cristo de La Laguna for a meeting with entities and organizations involved in the reception and social integration of migrants. A significant speech is expected from this event, given the current migratory and social context.
The day's main event will be a large mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV at 12:15 PM on the port esplanade of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Thousands of faithful are expected to attend, making it one of the most significant religious gatherings in the Islands in recent decades. This Eucharist will mark the conclusion of his visit to Tenerife and Spain.
