Content creators Joana and Jonay, known as Guachinches Modernos, have gone viral after trying the substantial portions at El Guachinche del Sheriff in Valle Tabares, La Laguna.

The gastronomic influencer couple Joana and Jonay, who run the popular TikTok profile Guachinches Modernos, have shared their recent visit to El Guachinche del Sheriff, located in Valle Tabares, La Laguna. The outcome of their experience has gone viral due to the impressive size of the portions served.
Upon seeing the scale of the dishes, Joana joked about needing 'fighters' to tackle the food. The pair began by trying dishes like escaldón, mushrooms, and goat meat, aiming not to get 'too full' before facing the house specialties.
The highlight of the video came with the presentation of two monumental platters, divided between sea and mountain options, designed to be shared by four to five people. The seafood platter included a wide variety of calamari, octopus, cuttlefish, prawns, fish fritters, peppers, and potatoes, prompting an astonished reaction from Joana.
Meanwhile, the meat platter offered ribs, secret cut pork, steak, chicken breast, chorizo, and sausages, all accompanied by a large amount of french fries. Jonay emphasized that these platters are a challenge for carnivores and sufficient for several people.
These combined platters are priced at 65.50 euros for the seafood option and 55.90 euros for the meat version. The establishment, situated on Camino el Rosarito, is open daily.
