The Antena 3 talent show, which remains the Friday ratings leader, has introduced a significant novelty this season. In the latest episode, a change in the contest's mechanics was premiered, directly affecting the button-pressing segment. After the performances, contestants were lining up to discover their next imitation when an unprecedented casilla, or box, labeled 'Pide un deseo' (Make a wish) appeared.
Host Manel Fuentes explained the new dynamic: "You can make a wish for next week's performance. Whatever you want, but to sing." This surprise generated reactions among those present, including jury member Àngel Llàcer, who incredulously asked if the rule was that flexible. Contestant JK Bello, the first to face the casilla, initially joked about wishing for a house but ultimately expressed his desire to perform a musical.
Upon JK Bello's request to perform a musical, Fuentes confirmed that the button would offer options aligned with his wish. It was finally revealed that the contestant will tackle 'The Lion King' in the next episode, fulfilling his aspiration to perform a major musical.

In addition to the mechanical novelty, 'Tu cara me suena' welcomed Nando Escribano, a collaborator on 'Espejo Público' and former presenter of the show. His presence reunited Germán González and Nuria Marín, known for their involvement in 'Cazamariposas', who shared their astonishment on social media seeing their friend imitate Olly Murs. The trio reunited to support Escribano during his performance.
