The incident occurred at 10:37 AM heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received the alert and activated the necessary emergency resources.
Emergency personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) assessed and assisted the driver. He was subsequently transferred by a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
The Guardia Civil managed traffic on the road and handled the corresponding report. Personnel from the Road Conservation Service of the Cabildo of Tenerife carried out cleaning tasks on the roadway to restore normal conditions.
