A 39-year-old man has been seriously injured after falling from an approximate height of 15 meters while working inside a building on Juan Padrón street in the capital of Tenerife. According to sources from the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the incident occurred when the worker fell onto an internal ramp of a garage.
The first responders to arrive at the scene were officers from the Local Police, who took the necessary measures to attend to the injured worker. The Tenerife Firefighters and medical resources from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) also collaborated in the assistance efforts.
A police escort was established to facilitate the transfer of the injured man to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria. The Local Police has initiated the workplace accident protocol, which includes the involvement of the Scientific Police of the National Police and the Labor Inspectorate to clarify the causes of the incident.
