The City Council of El Paso has arranged a free bus service from the urban center to the Hermitage, operating from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and a continuous shuttle service from El Pino Crossroads to facilitate access to the traditional Fiesta en el Monte.
This day, which annually gathers residents and visitors, marks the conclusion of the 2026 Fiestas del Pino, offering a deeply rooted celebration with religious acts, horse races, a traditional gathering with music groups, and a popular street party.
Mayor Eloy Martín has invited citizens to participate in this day of community, music, and tradition, emphasizing it as a time for family enjoyment in a place that is emblematic of the municipality's identity.
The Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Irinova Hernández, highlighted the importance of a participatory program and described the festival's outcome as very positive, encouraging work towards the 2027 edition, a key year for El Paso with the celebration of the Bajada.
Both municipal officials have expressed gratitude for the involvement of residents, groups, security forces, emergency services, volunteers, and collaborating entities in the success of this edition.
Temporary traffic closures for vehicles will also be in effect between 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM on the route for the Horse Race.
The program includes the Pilgrims' Holy Mass (9:00 AM), the ‘Mauro Fernández’ Horse Races (10:00 AM), a concert by the Municipal Music Band (11:00 AM), Holy Mass and procession (12:00 PM), International Versadores Meeting (1:30 PM), a traditional gathering with Parranda La Parra and El Fututo (2:30 PM), and a street party with Pepe Benavente and Los Tres de Caña (5:00 PM), in addition to a second Horse Race (7:00 PM).
