El Paso Invests Over 315,000 Euros in Street and Road Paving

The El Paso City Council has allocated over 315,000 euros to improve road infrastructure, with some projects already awarded and others soon to begin, funded by the Island Council of La Palma.

The El Paso City Council continues its plan to improve the municipal road network, with an investment exceeding 315,000 euros. These funds come from the Cooperation Plan of the Island Council of La Palma, aiming to ensure road safety, accessibility, and the well-being of citizens.
Among the planned actions, the paving of Calle Panadero has already been awarded. Soon, the contracts for works on Camino de Tacande, Camino El Rincón, and Pino Santiago will be formalized, once the contracting procedures are completed.

The mayor, Eloy Martín, highlighted that these works are the result of extensive planning and a commitment to the comprehensive improvement of all neighborhoods in the municipality. He also thanked the collaboration of the Cabildo de La Palma and the work of municipal staff in managing these projects.
In addition to these actions, the City Council plans to initiate new contracts in other areas, such as Areneros and Tijaraferos streets, with an allocation of 227,291.25 euros, included in the recently approved municipal budgets. These improvements not only involve pavement renovation but also the upgrade of essential services such as water supply, telecommunications, and public lighting, as well as improved access to homes and rural properties.
