The Fuencaliente de La Palma City Council has unveiled the program for the 2026 'Fiestas del Pino de la Virgen', scheduled for the weekend of September 14-15, focusing on folklore and local traditions.

The festivities will commence on Friday, September 18th, at 8:00 PM in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento with a performance by the folklore group Tajadre, marking the official opening of the local celebrations.
The main day will take place on Saturday, September 19th, in the area of the Pino de la Virgen. Starting at 10:00 AM, there will be children's activities including bouncy castles and face painting. An exhibition of Lucha Canaria (Canarian Wrestling) by the Club de Lucha San Antonio Abad will also be held, followed by traditional games such as the Carrera de Dueñas (a local race).
At 1:00 PM, a solemn mass will be celebrated. This will be followed by a community lunch where each attendee is invited to bring their own food. During this gathering, the traditional dessert contest will take place, accompanied by storytellers from the Punto y Clave association.
The festive program will conclude at 10:00 PM with a grand popular festival (verbena) in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, featuring musical entertainment by Grupo Libertad y Calle Tres.
