The Villa Mariana hosted a significant meeting between Galicia's Barbanza Cycling Club and local cycling representatives. The Councilor for Sports, Manuel González, received the Galician delegation at the Candelaria City Council's Plenary Hall, emphasizing the growing sporting and human relationship between the Galicians and the people of Candelaria.
This event marks a milestone in the collaboration between Candelaria's Club Ciclista Ballester and the Galician team, highlighting the power of inclusive cycling as a tool for connection and fostering shared values. The Galician delegation will participate in joint training sessions and competitions on the island, coinciding with the season finale of the Comarca Acentejo Inclusive League in Tenerife.
This sports exchange revives the spirit of reciprocity, following the visit of cyclists from Candelaria to Boiro last April, where they participated in a race organized by the Barbanza Cycling Club.

González also highlighted the fundamental role of such initiatives in strengthening the municipal sports fabric.
